About Me

Hello there, my name is Camille Austin and I'm a model, body positive advocate and dancer.

As a young girl I never thought modeling was possible for me. I've always stood out in most spaces as the only black woman occupying space. However having a curvier build after being a dancer for 15yrs+ didn't always allow for opportunities. Since then, I started chasing my dreams to help shift the industry for better diversity, inclusivity and body positivity at the age of 17. Not quite being plus size/ curve model while not meeting the harsh straight model requirements makes me realize I have not seen a woman like me grace the cover of any magazine. I have since become a semi-finalist for Sports Illustrated 2019 and 2020. I make efforts to develop my skills with each passing day.

I love that I'm given a platform to reach out to other women and men to encourage them to just embrace and love yourself no matter what anyone says.
